How to send your fan mail and autograph requests to Jan Kodes?:

If you want to request an autograph, follow the guidelines bellow. If you just want to mail a letter with the address above, and do not want anything back, then you can stop reading! If you live in Czech Republic send a properly stamped and self addressed envelope (minimum size 8.5" x 4") with your request letter and a photo. You can include a piece of cardboard to keep the photo from bending in shipping and also add "Do Not Bend" on the envelopes. Send your letter and wait. On average, there is going to be a 3+ month wait for a response. If you do not live in Czech Republic, add several* International Reply Coupons. The International Reply Coupons (IRC) will be used by the receiver to purchase chzeck stamps. You can only get them at your post office. Place the IRCs into the envelope, not on it. For more information on reply coupons click here. *For information on postage prices to receive a letter from Czech Republic click here.

Jan Kodes, tennis legend and Wimbledon Champion - December 5th, 2013
see the autographed photos here: Jan Kodeš (Czech: Jan Kodeš; born March 1, 1946, in Prague, Czechoslovakia) is a right-handed Czech former tennis player who won three Grand Slam events in the early 1970s. Kodeš's greatest success was on the clay courts of the French Open. He won the title there in 1970, beating Željko Franulovi? in the final, and in 1971, defeating Ilie N?stase in the final. He also won Wimbledon on grass in 1973, although 13 of the top 16 players, and 81 players in total, did not play the tournament that year because of a boycott over the ILTF banning Nikola Pili? from that Wimbledon. Kodeš beat home favorite Roger Taylor in the semifinals 8–9, 9–7, 5–7, 6–4, 7–5 and Alex Metreveli in the final 6–1, 9–8, 6–3. sent an email to Mr Kodes an he provided his address in Prague, Czech Republic sent LOR SASE and 4 photo received all back after 2 months
