I sent a LOR and a SAE (in a larger envelope with a few other letters) to the Coronation Street address and a month and a half later, I received a signed cast card from Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone Dobbs in the show

Alan Halsall Success! - July 19th, 2014
So I sent to Alan Halsall on the 19th June 2014.
I sent a Letter and a Stamped Addressed Envelope.
I sent to the Coronation Street set address which is in the database.
I received back a signed cast card.
I received the autograph back today (19th July 2014)
