Johnny Pesky failure :( - August 27th, 2012 Today I received a long-overdue RTS. On July 9, 2012 I sent a letter, SASE, and picture to Red Sox legend Johnny Pesky. Pesky died on August 19th, and today I received the letter and picture back in my SASE along with a note from the team saying that Pesky was unable to sign the item or receive the letter before his death.
