SIR TERRY WOGAN SUCCESS!! - October 28th, 2015
I've been a huge fan of Terry since the 80s when he had his own chat show. I loved his unique brand of subtle humor.
When I began watching the Eurovision Song Contest and Terry was the annual commentator, he added such a sense of irreverence to this huge spectacle that the competing countries took so seriously it made for hilarious TV. With all the political voting, which used to particularly annoy Terry, he decided to take the event as a joke.
Terry's career has spanned over 5 decades and has involved nearly every aspect of the media world. Much of his success related to his radio show, which attracted around 8 million listeners. In 2006 Terry was receiving a salary of £800,000 a year making him the highest paid BBC radio presenter.
I sent Terry a 4 page A5 LOR, 1 A4 photo, 6"x4" index card and SASE.

Sir Terry Wogan SUCCESS - October 31st, 2014
The legend of radio and TV, the real voice of Eurovision. Sir Terry himself.
I met him last year and was thrilled at how nice he was, and his Xmas Cards sold in a flash, so I am delighted to have received these. Sent via BBC Radio in July, received yesterday.
2 x Signed Xmas Cards, with a wee message added.
