Vladimir Remek Success!! - February 17th, 2014 On November 18, 2013, I sent an email to cosmonaut Col. Vladimir Remek, requesting an autographed photo. On February 15, 2014, I received a 5x6 autographed photo from Col. Remek. Col. Remek is the first Czechoslovak in space and the first astronaut from the European Union.
